Feisty by Julia Kent

Feisty is book number 3 in the do-over series by Julia Kent. I honestly think this is my favorite of the series so far. This book takes place in a Boston suburb called anderhill. And being from Boston it was quite weird having a made up location but it was really cute all the same. This book is about Fiona and Chris “Fletch”. When they were in middle school he tried to kiss Fiona and she was not for it so she drop kicked him (yeah girl power!!). But Fletch gave her a nickname for that that had stuck with everyone until college when she reimaged herself. Now a preschool teacher something massive happened into her class and she saved the day. What had happened had brought Fletch back into her life and makes it hard for Fiona to continue to avoid him like she had the past 17 years. I really liked how this book showed the battle within herself for trying to get over something that had happened so many years ago but needing to figure out that Chris isn’t a bad guy, He grew up to be an amazing person and credits her for it. This book has some very funny parts as well (seriously laugh out loud). And Mattie, Fletchs young nephew is by far the person who steels this book for me. Perky and Mallory are in this book as well and I love the friendship the three of them have. I say this is a must read but recommend reading Fluffy and Perky first.

You're going to drink more beer to produce more urine for your pee line around the cabin that will keep the bears at bay?” Mallory asks in a tone that makes it clear she thinks they've gone batshit crazy. “Yes,” they answer in unison.”
