His forbidden Love is book two in the Manhattan Billionaires series. This book is about the right person and the wrong time. Michael is freshly divorced from a loveless marriage and back in New York. He cannot keep the girl from 4 years ago out of his mind. He finally bumps into Ally at a retirement party on a boat the only issue is this time she is the one who is not available with a boyfriend who plans to move forward with their relationship. The last time they saw each other Ally threw her feelings out there and unfortunately with Michael being a married man he chose to save his marriage and do right by his wife denying any feelings he had for her. This time around he is free and will do what it takes to get the girl of his dreams.
I loved how this book refused to cross the cheating lines and gave these characters the integrity to do right by the people they are committed too even if it’s not with who it’s supposed to be. I do think that once these two did get together the relationship was a bit rushed, but I do understand that these characters had these feelings for years. This was a really cute easy read and I would recommend it for a lazy day as it can be read in one sitting.
