Make me yours is the second book in The Bellamy Creek Series. This book is about Griffins little sister Cheyenne Dempsey and his best friend Cole Mitchell. Cheyenne has been in love with Cole since she was twelve. Cole, however, did not see her like that, she was three years younger than him and was his best friends’ little sister. He ended up marrying his high school sweetheart and had a daughter with her. His daughter, Mariah is now nine years old and Trisha had died during childbirth. Cole has had a crush on Cheyenne for quite a while, and everyone but him and her can see that he is trying his best to hide his feelings, until one drunken accidental sext from her changes everything.

Cole is such a sweet man, a loving father, and a great friend. Cheyenne is a woman who knows what she wants and knows her self-worth and will not settle for anything less. Mariah loves both people and wants them to be happy, she is a lot more observant than Cole gives her credit for and she has a huge heart.

Through this book you see how the sudden death of Coles late wife has affected him when it comes to finding love, he doesn't date, and isn't the type of person who just hooks up just to do it, especially being a cop in a small town. I do love that the issues he must deal with are real and I have seen many men face this exact thing when it comes to feelings. (That's really all I can say without giving anything away). I love that even though Cheyenne has loved Cole from a distance for almost her whole life, she isn't stupid about it she won’t settle to be something she isn't equipped for and she also won’t do something just to make Cole happy, she knows her worth and won’t let anyone make her feel like second best. The fact that this is not a book about someone getting over their dead spouse is a plus as well, the way it is gone about is perfect for the flow of this book.

The surprise characters made me so gitty! I am fairly sure the people around me herd me go "AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" with a huge smile on my face.

The only thing I was not too happy about was how one-sided Blaire and Cheyennes friendship seemed in this book when it came to talking and relationships. Even on Blaire's wedding day. though the surprise for Blaire was the sweetest.

The only other thing I have to say about this book is the banter between Enzo Moretti and Bianca DeRossi was the best! I really hope they get a book, and it is the next one in the series.
