If you are a crazy Corinne Michaels fan and have read all of her books things will click on the first page of this book on who's story this is. I am not going to lie the second it clicked to me
I got giddy and turned into a little kid on Christmas. However, I am not going to give away how exactly we know this person.
Grayson is a single dad whos got a bit of abandonment issues. When the first women who had walked out on him shows back into his town after a tragic event looking to recover he is determined to stay away let her recover and leave again. However not everything goes as planned. His daughter Amelia is adorable and has everyone wrapped around her little finger and its so easy to fall in love with her right from the start. During this book we get to see Grayson go from guarded and closed off to head over heels with the only women who has really ever held his heart. Even though after 18 years apart there are still certain things that he just couldn't let go of. It is killing me to not give anything away with this review, but trust me not knowing will make it so much better of a read.
This book will hold you captivated right from the start. You will swoon, laugh, cry, get angry and loose sleep because you just have to know what is going to happen next. I love that you feel the characters emotions as you are reading and the flow of the book is perfect. I cannot wait to see what the rest of the series has in store!
