The brazen is the third book in the Calamity Montana Series by Willa Nash. Its about Kerrigan Hale and Pierce Sullivan. Kerrigan's mentor and investor had passed away unexpectedly and his company is now in the hands of his grandson Pierce. Pierce holds a grudge against his grandfather and his good friend Kerrigan and is out to make her pay for his grandfathers mistakes in life and gives her 30 days to come up with the money to buy out her contracts for her properties. There is not much more I can say about this books plot without giving some of the storyline away so I will leave it at that.
This book is a light read and you can manage it in one sitting. It is extremely adorable and there are some twists and turns through out the book. Some you see coming, others you think something else is happening but you were wrong. I did want to strangle Kerrigan's family but it makes when they are called out on the things they are doing so much better. I do hope her brother does get a book eventually just because he does have so much growing up to do and is now in a position to do so.
This is the third book in the series but you don't have to read the first two to understand what is going on. But it would be more enjoyable to understand the relationships with the side characters.
